Maple Leaf Seeks Financing for California Project

CALGARY, ALBERTA - Maple Leaf Green World (TSX VENTURE:MGW) ("Maple Leaf" or the "Company") announces that it intends to raise up to $500,000 in capital by way of a non-brokered private placement to accredited investors. The proposed private placement involves a unit offering at $0.05 per unit, each unit comprised of one common share and one common share purchase warrant per unit; the warrants issued in connection with the unit offering will be exercisable at a price of $0.075 per warrant for a period of two years after closing of the offering. Although the proposed private placement is non-brokered, the Company reserves the right to pay finder's fees in connection with the offering. Any securities issued pursuant to this offering will be subject to restrictions on resale for a specified period of not less than four months after closing.

The Company intends to use the net proceeds of the offering for the Company's California medical marijuana project and general corporate expenses
